Phenicia is the perfect example of a micro-manager. She requires all employees to email her an employees reply to inquiries BEFORE the employee is allowed to reply. I mean who does that? She has her hands so far down into the pot and in the weeds she can't work strategically and as an Associate VP they need to do that. But because she is so "hands-on" she has turned more tactical and basically pushed away strong employees that left for bigger things. She promotes her favorite people vs those that are qualified and discriminates against those who are not either her race or on her "team" to be a "yes" person. If you have a mind of your own, don't work for you, you will just be frustrated and will hate your job. If you like to be led like a lemming-wink making widgets and doing what she say, you'll fit right in.
