Pros: Not a micromanager, reasonable productivity expectations, friendly individually and not directly malicious in any way. Very knowledgeable in his field with some niche experience. Generally helpful to employees goal of advancement and improvement. Cons: Very poor communication and unclear expectations on performance to the point where direct reports and superiors are unaware of his and his or his team's workload. Education always considered greater than experience. Major sticking point was work from home flexibility: he took generous advantage of company policy while his direct report were out of luck. Shows blatant favoritism and disdain for employees based on lifestyle. Has expressed dislike and distaste of traditional values.
