Topics: • Gender discrimination • Bigotry • Race • Office Politics • Professionalism In preventing any hearsay, the following comments are from events witnessed and experienced first hand. Gender discrimination: I have witnessed Lisa multiple times in the office and outside the workplace (office function) express her hatred towards men. Specifically heterosexual males. Bigotry: I have witnessed Lisa express numerous times in the office of her disdain and hatred towards religious individuals. Please note, I have heard her in the office identify herself as a Atheist. Race: I have noticed her social interaction with members of the African American community is awkward. There was an incident where a African American professor Dr. Harris who wasn’t paid for 5 months at UTSA. According to Lisa Chavez, the Admin at that time didn’t process her paperwork. I have to call BS on it. Lisa Chavez oversees the whole department for peoples pay and usually micro manages over ppl. I have a hard time believing that it fell through the cracks as Lisa would have caught such mistake. Now I’m not speculating that this has anything to do with one’s race. However, in noticing how awkward and aggressive she is towards members of a certain race does concern me and does bring some matters to question. Office Politics: In the BSC office there is definitely office politics present as much as Lisa may say we are a team. Professionalism: I will state Lisa is far from being a professional at her job. She will yell, harass, intimidate and single you out for anything if you were speak up on anything within the office. Furthermore, I witnessed her criticize and complain anyone coming to work dressed professional in clothing attire (specifically business casual attire). Mind you, she comes to the job wearing the same hoodie and jeans with her hiking boots. My advice: Know your rights, document any unusual activity and speak up to any appropriate office regarding Lisa’s behavior. - Document - Speak to HR (please note be cautious as Lisa is supposedly good friends with Nadia Lopez who is our College rep for HR) - Contact UTSA police department (Yes, please contact the police department) There is a behavioral section with the department that looks at any behavioral problems on members. Lisa Chavez does have a mental illness according to her and I would recommend contacting their office and the police department to report any unusual behavior from Lisa. - Lastly, The San Antonio police department. Knowing how Lisa is, I strongly advise in contacting the city police and report any prolonged type of harassment from her. There is a penal code that protects citizens from any type of harassment behavior. The are federal laws that prohibit any of these type of actions that Lisa commits. The reason I’m stating this the above topics are actual events witnessed and experienced. I do not want to see anyone experience any undesirable treatment from her. Lisa does not look like the type to do such horrendous activities but she does. As the saying goes, the ones you least expect someone to be tends to be. Lastly, Lisa has fired people in the past especially lots of males! She usually keeps for the most part females in the office. If there is any male she speaks to they tend to be part of the LGBTQ community and or effeminate.

Topic: Social Interaction I want to emphasize, if you are an employer of an ethnic background or from a different demographic, please expect the following actions from Lisa. Her social skills are as if she watched 30 min tv program on MTV or BET in observing the acting of ethnic actors. She will reenact the same behavior she seen and apply it to real life through her interactions with others in the work setting. It's honestly cringy! If you are a male, she might call you "Dawg" or "Homie" as if we are in the early 2000's. Furthermore, if she acts or behaves aggressive, again it's probably because she correlates anyone of an ethnic background to the same behavior, she probably watched on MTV from 2-minute music video from some rapper.

Topic: Mental Health Please be aware, according to Lisa Chavez she is diagnosed with mental health specifically with Bi-Polar Disorder. Supposedly, she has medical paperwork from her PCM (primary care manager). Now this comment does not serve in disregarding anyone with a mental disorder as it's an unfortunate disease some struggle with in affecting their day-to-day activities. Rather this comment is to shed light how Lisa will abuse and take advantage of her disability at the job and the comments she has shared to her employers of her mental health disorder. Lisa has admitted of playing the mental health card to get an advantage at the job and to protect her employment at UTSA. Her exact words she has stated was playing the "mental health card". Same type of concept when others use the "race card" in avoiding taking any accountability of any wrongdoing, mistakes, broken laws and etc. With that being said, if you were to ask any question about her work, a status or w.e. She will pull the "mental health card" and try to guilt shame you for asking any questions regarding her satisfactory work, why she doesn't come to work on time or etc. Please refrain in taking it personal, it's just one of her tactics she uses in trying to guilt shame you or any employer for speaking up.
