Typical issues -- he's unwilling to hold himself to the same standards as him employees. For example, he expects employees to be on call 24/7 but can't be bothered to answer his messages. Training for this position typically takes about a month, and I kid you not, he's been in training for almost six months because he is that dumb. The only reason he hasn't been fired is the job is too difficult to fill. That's also the only reason he got it--all the internal employees who were qualified said no. He keeps making promises that he never follows through on. He has no social skills. He doesn't speak during meetings. He had one bizarre meeting that lasted for 2-3 minutes where he said hello, asked everyone their names, then left. Half the people who were supposed to be there didn't even make it before he left it was that short. That's the most contact anyone's had in six months! He micromanages to the extreme. The job is easy and pays decent, but half of the shift is actively interviewing for jobs elsewhere because dealing with him just isn't worth it.
