Was hired by her in 2017 and almost immediately regretted it. I saw red flags right away with the one poor employee she had that was so obviously burnt out. This woman was clearly making her life impossible and made a fool of her practically in front of her face. These were signs of what was to come. She was a bully who was prone to angry outbursts and would lash out at the slightest “perceived” insults. Her communication was vague, at best, and when she was in one of her many moods she would look for any reason to take it out on you. She often felt threaten by others mentioning that they were coming for her job when they would offer to help or give us feedback on a project. Employees from other departments would come to me instead to avoid dealing with her because “she wasn’t known for playing well with others”. She would also bully and bad mouth her previous employee who, by all accounts, had done an excellent job managing and helping her acclimate to her new role during the many organizational changes the company went through. Overall she is a good worker bee but lacks the emotional intelligence, self-awareness and managerial skills to interact with a team as a leader as she has a mean, vindictive, almost punitive streak and a tendency of creating a toxic environment.
