Collie is a wonderful person to work for. He’s excellent at teaching new operators the ropes and helping those grow to find their passion. A lot of the skills I learned from him on the operational side helped me grow into my future beyond television master control. Collie also believes that operators should have a sense of curiosity, being able to have due diligence before escalating issues. Instilling this is important for teaching MCO’s to take ownership, even at the worst of circumstances. His demeanor in providing support to operators is a model I adopted when taking on on-call responsibilities in my current employer years later. I am grateful for the time I worked for him.
