This man was completely unprofessional, He constantly let residents get away with anything they wanted, letting them miss rent for months on end, hired personal friends that should have never been hired, made empty promises of giving raises when deserved, and never actually cared about his employees unless they were his friends at work and outside of it. For instance, when I first got hired on before he even became the new general manager, he decided to bring his best friend over from his other property that managed and said he was “criminally underpaid” as an excuse. When in reality he already promised him the position of supervisor when it was about to be handed to me. So once his best friend came to the property, he went against what our regional wanted and decided to make TWO PEOPLE the supervisor, his best friend and I. With no pay raise which was so ridiculous, and he only did this to please his friend. The list goes on and on, so basically his friend would piss everyone off by not doing his job and all Casey would say is “send me an email” and there have been MULTIPLE emails written against this particular employee, and unfortunately has done nothing about it. IF there is ANY company out there that does find this, please do NOT hire this man in any type of positions of leadership. Production will go down, employees will be unhappy and severely affected by this man.
