Arlee is the type of supervisor that is too preoccupied with having power and control over others instead of aiming to build and guide the staff. She constantly uses her title to belittle the staff. She is unapproachable if anyone asks a question about program changes she doesn’t give an explanation or training, she just repeats “I am the Program Director and I gave the directive” or “This came from corporate and I took the blame for you all”. She doesn't accept feedback or admit to mistakes instead she lies and blames others to make herself look good. If she doesn’t agree with someone she will become disrespectful, raise her voice, cry and target that person until they quit. When addressing the staff she constantly criticizes the staff and points out all the negatives instead of praising staff for the positives. Arlee is unpunctual, doesn’t show up to meetings or she schedules/cancels meetings last minute. When she does show up to meetings she’s always on her phone texting or out of the office driving. Arlee is the type of person that is always involved in the drama/gossip and goes out of her way to stir up conflicts between employees then reprimands staff for the gossip she initiated. She requests favors from staff (asking staff to tell her everything they hear other staff say about her) in exchange for favoritism, promotions or protection from write ups. Overall she is the most unprofessional, unorganized, disrespectful person I’ve ever had to work with. In less than a year over half the program staff has quit because they couldn’t continue to work in the hostile and unprofessional environment she created.

Arlee is the type of director who literally fails employees and companies. She has driven down a grant in less than a year. She has become an abusive director who uses things such as ‘this manager wanted me to fire you, but I took the write up. I took care of you.’ When the truth is another manager indicated more training or coaching needed to be done. Arlee also lies to staff’s faces while allowing other staff to scream in yell in meetings, but indicating it never happened. Arlee is a person you never want working for you, with you or running a business
