He is not a technical manager. He is a project manager only. Low integrity who falsified a report. He has difficulty retaining team members. He has had more direct reports leave than he has onboarded. He co-manages with another manager who is technical. He should be a project manager and not a director level people manager. Do not get friendly will him. He will tell you he is your friend and get you to talk about you’re life. Talk only business with him. Do not get personal. He only cares about his performance rating. He doesn’t push back against his manager due lack of technical knowledge. He doesn’t understand the larger picture of the technology the team works on and the impact. He is very condescending and is just another layer of management pork.
