Jean is the trifecta of a horrible boss, he is incompetent, rude, and lazy. He does not know how to do basic tasks that are required for his position and then proceeds to write people up for not doing those exact same tasks that he would not be able to do himself even if given clear and concise direction. He often snaps at people in a bullish and rude manner for things he perceives they did wrong but more often than not he is yelling at the wrong people for the wrong things. If he would just take a moment to read an email or understand a situation, he would have a better understanding of who needs to be reprimanded for poor work ethic but he does not do that, so he just yells at the person standing closest to the fire rather than the person who started it. He shoves work off on other people whose jobs are already over-saturated with tasks because he doesn't want to admit that he doesn't know how to do them but then he will turn around and tell his bosses that he completed the task himself and take all of the credit. He only pretends to work or be involved in daily operations when his bosses are watching, otherwise he is MIA or siting in his office watching videos on his phone or taking personal calls. He is utterly incapable of communicating at the most basic level whether it be employee expectations or big changes that would affect everyone in the company. It baffles me that someone like this could ever reach a management position at all let alone keep his position as long as he has. I have seen good employee after good employee walk out sight on scene because of Jean and yet he still remains in his role. I wonder when his bosses will realize that he is in the fact the problem and not everyone else. Maybe they do realize it and they just don't care because as long as they are making profits (which is by no means thanks to Jean) then they will keep him there and it will just be a revolving door of all of the other employees.
