First off-working for the company of Ulta Beauty was a nightmare. I worked at two different locations and both were terrible. But by far the location with this particular manager was beyond atrocious. She’s fond of playing head games with the staff and customers; encourages manipulation, gaslighting, severe micromanaging and an unabashed disregard of company rules and regulations. I and others have witness egregious work place violations she’s committed as well as racist behavior both on and off the floor. It’s unfortunate that the District Manager is in cahoots because there has been numerous complaints to HR over the years about Holly from both staff and customers. And yet nothing has been resolved. She has told several of us to our face that calling HR on her will result in nothing. We have witnessed good people quitting or mysteriously “fired” once an HR complaint has reached across her desk. Numerous former coworkers (including myself) have felt much better after leaving that horrific, toxic environment.
