Albert was hired on to oversee the production floor in general. The main thing about that is that he has management experience, but doesn't know the first thing about CNC machining. He doesn't know a lot but will speak as if he does. He doesn't understand anything you say when you try to explain an issue you may have, an example being that you'll have a hard time threading a bolt into a hole if the position is off. He has no interest in learning anything that his employees do, all he cares about are spreadsheets and pushing for numbers without seeing that he's about to mess up. He hires on so many people that have no idea what they're doing, none of the leads are involved, so you end up with people who only have 8 months of machining experience making $28/hr while machinists who have been doing it for years are still around $24/hr. How is it that someone with no aerospace experience can determine how much a machinist is worth? He pushes to get more people onto a weekend shift but fails to realize that sometimes that creates more problems than if he were to keep them on first shift for longer. He refuses to give you priority, he will simply state that all of the parts are hot. If they're all priority, then that means none of them are priority. He's not here to help us, he's here to make himself and his buddies look good at the expense of his own employees. He doesn't listen to anyone that isn't a lead or manager, you will be talked over and straight up disregarded about anything and everything. He wants to take leads off of machines, but won't give them the tools to be able to make that happen, so now the leads just have more work to do on top of the work they were already doing? Make it make sense.
