It's probably because I lost interest in this job and I hated doing the "phone jams" or calls. I hate bugging people, especially when they are on their way to work, and who wants to get a call that early 8-10. It made me suppress my own personality and no one deserves to go through that. I get gaslighted that I have no grit in this job when it comes to appointments and making demos. This comment will sound more of like a personal problem and an experience, but if you are not comfortable making calls in the morning, especially if they are about selling a product, unlike other jobs where you are supposed to call a client (i.e. a homecare patient) because it is expected and more important, then this job is not for you, especially if you do not pursue in business. I know for a fact a majority family friends do not rock this way, and in my situation, being forced to wake up early and commit to a phone jam is one of the worst feelings in the world, in other words, being forced to do something you do not like, especially if you are NOT paid to do it, is the worst thing ever. It's a great starter job for anyone for less than a month, don't get me wrong. Before I come off as ungrateful, I've actually learned how to use my calendar app more, and some behind the scenes stuff on the business field. And I gained experience on what it's like working for a job you dislike, especially if you are forced to have grit on it, and showing that I have time to find more interests. But at the end of the day, NEVER commit to a career that you dislike a lot, especially if you plan to do it for your lifetime. Just like love, FORCED grit is the WORST grit. Throw that into the garbage.
