If you’re a strong female leader run from this manager. Unless you want to lose yourself and integrity by constantly praising his ego and his advances (Alfa Male) and enjoy being put down intellectually, then by all means work with him. He’ll drag your reputation through the mud, and also start unrealistic rumors about you. Then use what he knows of you personally to advance in his career. He’ll also try to embarrass you in front of colleagues, to the point of making you cry so he’s able to state that because you’re a women - therefore you’re emotional; that is after he tries to advance himself as your only protector. If you have a long length career, he’ll likely undermine it and project himself as if you’re a new employee. If you have ideas, don’t share cause he’ll say they don’t work and then use them with others as his own! Be extremely careful with this individual, he’s not a good person, especially when he’s confronted! But he’s not superior to anyone, and what’s comes around goes around.
