This is a small firm, with about 12 employees total. The owner is unfortunately mentally ill. She is hostile and abusive and destructive toward all employees. She constantly contradicts herself, invents problems in order to create a public drama around her accusations, blames others for her mistakes, etc etc. Her abusive behavior does not only apply to employees, but to clients as well. She will suddenly jump in on someone else's case without warning, make a mess of it, call clients to give them erroneous instructions, etc., which leaves the employees to clean up the mess and calm the client down. Working here gives people anxiety and outrageous amounts of stress. You never know from one day to another when you are going to be ambushed, accused, attacked, threatened, for no reason other than her twisted imagination. She brags about things that aren't real. She claims that work-life balance is important, but really that only applies to her, everyone else better watch out if they try to take a lunch break or a day off. She makes the staff act as her personal servants, forcing them to drive her to the airport, picl her up, babysit her kid, take care of her house when she's away, run errands, pick up/drop off her relatives ... all without compensation. Attorneys who have worked with her have given up practicing law. Staff leave in droves. Once she had to call some ex-staff to beg them to come work for her again by offering lots of money and titles above their experience, all because everyone left at once and she was alone. Avoid this insane asylum at all costs.
