Avoid working for her at all costs. She does not value employees, or take an interest in improving them. She expects employees to read her mind. She once told an employee to mind my their own business when he was trying to make small talk with her. She lacks the managerial ability and finesse to lead and develop a staff. Clearly she was put in this position because the company needed a warm body.

Lauren is incapable of carrying out the most basic communication skills necessary to effectively manage. She plays favorites and is intolerant of anyone who is different from her. I would steer clear of working for her, unless of course if you fit in to her narrow scope of what an employee should be.
