Kristine Morgan…where do I begin. I guess for starters we can talk about the major Karen vibes that she gives off. Her perceived positivity and nice demeanor immediately comes off as performative and not genuine. You can tell that she’s generally a very miserable employee of the agency and isn’t happy working with people or even being in the office. For someone of her stature and position at EOC, she lacks a lot of answers or real experience doing her job and this proved very difficult for employee development. She was very unreliable for answers or insight because she herself knew nothing about what was going on. I’m genuinely unsure how she became a director, let alone, in communications. She’s terrible at communicating and often times she comes off crass, rude, and hostile. Don’t think she realizes how her candor comes off either. She’s very unpleasant, and it’s very hard to like her, which is why it’s difficult to work with her because how can anybody work with someone they don’t like or at the very least respect? She also has a tendency to scold staff like children when she’s the one who provided unclear directions. It’s like she looks down on her team and is doing everything she can to bring them down instead of uplift and also everything she can to pin them against each other. Just horrible. If you ever work at FEOC, avoid her and her department. She’s lost 5-6 staff under her in a year. Execs won’t take that as evidence that she’s the problem, but let this be a warning.
