We nicknamed her Delores Umbridge (the evil professor from Harry Potter), so that should tell you something right there. I swear the mannerisms are almost spot on. The only good thing I can say about having a crap boss is that it brings everyone else in the office closer together...until they quit. We're about to lose three people...out of six--so half. All because she's insufferable. And it's not like she's working any miracles--productivity is up but accuracy is down so I'd call that a wash, call-ins are way up, morale is in the toilet. If you want a Delores Umbridge, this is your gal. If you want someone who inspires people to be better at their jobs, to want to come to work, then this is not your person. I just hope she quits because I'm about at my breaking point.

First off, this job has a high turnover rate, poor hours, and bad pay. So they will take anyone who meets minimum qualifications. Also this is an overnight shift, and we operate under different constraints. Kristin is inexperienced. She doesn't understand that what works on day shift, won't work on overnights because we have fewer people and resources, and she isn't willing to listen. She is making up policies that contradict official written policy, so no matter what we do, we're wrong. You try to ask her questions, and she just gives you a blank stare then changes the subject. She jumps online on her days off and pretends like she isn't there. I think she's doing it to spy on us. She also doesn't understand how the software works, and is demanding we do things that are impossible. She's only been in this position for about a month, and it already feels very toxic. Maybe with more experience and maturity she would be better.
