As a DMOS6 branch manger, Kevin moved Jon Button from YE manager to CMP manager. Within 2 years Jon had completely failed and, facing demotion, chose to leave TI. He was from a rich family and had deep KLA money from when he worked there. Kevin hand selected his close personal friend Jason Sowers to be the new YE manager. Jason knew nothing about YE, had terrible people skills and almost no experience supervising people. The only time Jason supervised people, he had to be pulled from the role because the plasma techs were about to quit. Jason was eventually demoted for abusing his employees. Kevin also had selected his close personal friend Keith Fenstermacher to be the implant manager. Keith left TI when he was arrested for trying to meet an underaged boy at a motel for illegal sex. Kevin was eventually demoted from branch manager and sent to be a section manager at DMOS5. Despite his track record of miserable failure in selecting management, TI has seen fit to yet again make Kevin a branch manager, this time at DMOS5. It seems like Kevin and Keith share a secret with higher TI management, one that ensures that Kevin will never be dismissed.
