Does not have the personal confidence to work on strong nursing units. She is never present helping on the unit. Follows the manager around. Is not a true leader nor does she advocate for nurses/CNA’s for safe staffing or other safety concerns. Complaints fall on deaf ears. Half the unit has quit since she started which is too bad because we had an excellent crew. Travelers state “I’ve never been so scared to lose my license than I have working here. Unsafe ratios, and patients that belong on intermediate care but yet this identifies as a medical unit. But we are expected to have 5-6 patients at a time”. Food for thought.
Negative thoughts only come to mind. Advice stay clear of this director. She lies and manipulated situation to her advantage. Talks behind people’s back and always doesn’t have your best interest in mind.
