Josh Smith is the most toxic, abusive, manipulative, controlling, dishonest, boss in the local food/restaurant industry. He demands that you work 12 hours per day at least 6 days a week and doesn’t want to compensate you fairly. He wants you to be “on call” the rest of the time. He’s a yeller and is verbally abusive. He constantly dangles carrots but never delivers. He steals from employees. He embezzles from employers and partners. He lies right to your face. The rules apply extra hard to you, but don’t apply to him. He resents employees using the meager paid time off or sick time they earn and are entitled to. Don’t work for this guy and if he promises you anything get it both in writing and up front. Also, he loves to threaten litigation.
