Unprofessional. He say what he was as he doesn't know what he wants, so he expects you to know what he wants before he knows. He expect to see a deck of options set-up so he can make an informed decision, however do not want you to waste time setting up the options. You will need to know what he expecting from you without knowing what he wants because he doesn't know it. He will say he leaves it up to you and your team to make decisions but that is not true. He wants to know he is being consulted for the details. He is man of little patience and he tracks mistakes to justify your worthiness to him. Make sure you are always on your toes and make sure you are perfect. He expects it. Don't leave his team and work for another team, he will not take it well. He will speak ill of you and devalue your capacity or your potential in your face and behind you.
