Hands down the worst boss I have ever had to work for. He is the type of boss whose motto is "do as I say, not as I do." Along with being arrogant, Mr. Gilbert has major control issues and cannot properly communicate as a boss should to his colleagues. Not only does he talk down to women and disrespect them in a professional setting, he thinks he is the smartest person in the room when he can't even manage a staff of 7 people. He also enjoys pushing his political beliefs down your throat and making you feel like less if you disagree with him. Mr. Gilbert enjoys coming and going as he pleases, but will make you feel awful if you ever need a day off. Mr. Gilbert has done a wonderful job creating a toxic environment for his staff and the clients they serve. He loves to leave his office door open, but DO NOT APPROACH! The little man will be very angry that you didn't email him prior to entering his office! He does a great job of promising things and never delivering on those promises. He's manipulative. If you are the type of person who values having a personal life outside of work, then this is not the place for you. Some of the staff there are the most rude, unkind people that I have ever had to work with and I'm so happy to be free of that toxicity!
