I’ve never had such a terrible boss as Heather Gaudin. She started this job with no experience in television, or knowing how to use a camera, or knowing how to manage a team. It was glaringly obvious she was in over her head, and she used threats as her “management style.” This is implying that she is even at work long enough to be a boss. She is constantly and consistently out the door no later than 2pm daily, when everyone’s work day ends at 5 or 6. You’d think she was doing something work related, but she will post pictures of her playing with her kid or getting her nails done while her team is still working. She is a terrible leader, and very quick to throw anyone under the bus if it benefits her. She doesn’t care about her employees, and she will make it clear that she feels that way. She has had three employees leave in the short time she has joined the WAFB team, and she purposely worked from home or left very early so she wouldn’t have to talk to said employees or say goodbye. If you are considering a job in creative services at WAFB, you may want to ask yourself if you can live under constant threats of “marks” on your “permanent record”.
