Worst boss I have ever had. My fellow manager and I carried that stupid store forever, organized, hired the new staff still there, and made it better, just for her to hire one of her friends to replace us after promising us promotions. She was terrible from the beginning and had no idea what she was doing. She brought the freaking CEO to all the stores where he complained about us not selling Kangaroo, just for someone to finally explain to him it's illegal in CA, she nor the CEO knew that. She didn't understand the animals, and the staff, and was overall incompetent. In addition, her management style was toxic and disorganized, first admonishing me for not taking lunches and then when I started taking them, being upset that I had to close the store for an hour for my lunch since the hours were cut and I didn't have the manpower. She also constantly messaged me after hours and I was never reimbursed for making extremely long drives to cover other stores for her. I am honestly still baffled that she managed to get this job or any for that matter. The one thing she seemed to be good at was being an excellent BSr.
