Micromanager. Defines common industry terms and definitions with his own definitions. Likes lots of meetings with everyone, doesn't let go of the leash even with the highest performers. Cannot wait to see results of his directs with their responsibility, he will do half the work and subsequently get the confirmation bias that he has to do everything. It's awful working for him, a number of people have left. Most people who interact with him in our line of work don't like him because he is often confusing or misleading, likely due to redefining commonly understood terms. Oddly, he likes to argue about how to be innovative but haven't ever seen him innovate an original idea. He is a generally nice guy with no trust and little memory beyond the last couple weeks of what you've been up to. Stay away unless you want to work 70 hour weeks. He has clearly gotten to this point in his career by micromanaging which makes sense. It's hard to see how that benefits anyone who works for him or the company.
