Carol Lamar is an is one of the most professional and kindest people I've ever worked for. Carol is very supportive of her team and will go above and beyond to help them with their work goals. Carol believes in empowering people on her team to do their best and she is there for them if they struggle. Carol is highly trained and educated in her field, she attends many seminars and animal welfare expos all over the country. Carol has worked hard over many years and taken on different roles in the company, and she has earned the title of the Executive Director. Carol is authentic and genuine, and she cares about the physical and mental health of her staff. I've seen her help staff who are having difficult personal situations with kindness and confidentiality. The person who wrote the two negative slanderous reviews of Carol is a bitter ex-employee who was terminated. The comments that she uses to describe Carol are actually a reflection of the person herself, not of Carol. No amount of coaching could fix this person who is a gossip, backstabber, narcissist too. Sometimes it's truly a pleasure to let someone go who is truly toxic.

I am warning others about my former boss, Carol. She is a narcissist who gossips about other employees and her own management team. She is also lacking in education and experience, and she has no business being in a leadership position. Working for Carol, I saw firsthand how she created a toxic work environment. She was constantly gossiping about other employees, both behind their backs and to their faces. She also made it clear that she favored certain employees over others. Carol also has no business being in a leadership position because she lacks the necessary education and experience. She does not have a college degree. As a result of Carol's incompetence, employee morale is very low. Many employees are unhappy and end up quitting. I would not recommend working for Carol to anyone. The fact that she was even HR is mind blowing. Here are some specific examples of Carol's behavior: She gossiped about an employee's personal life to other employees. She gave preferential treatment to her favorite employees. She was promoted to different positions because she would cry and moan about how she was treated. She refused to listen to feedback from her employees. Everything is about HER. You cannot have a conversation without it turning to how wonderful she is and how she does it better. She made decisions that were not in the best interests of the company. I am writing this review in hopes that it will prevent others from having to experience the same kind of toxic work environment that I did. If you are considering working for Carol Lamar, I urge you to reconsider. You will be much better off finding a different job.

Mrs. Lamar only cares about climbing the employment ladder. She had positions created specifically for her because she could not work well with others. Mrs. Lamar was put into HR without the proper education, she would then repeat things the were privately said behind closed doors. She does not care for the staff, in fact she is the biggest gossip and allows her favorites to dictate others.
