Although Brenda has industry knowledge, she is absolutely inept as a "Director". She was demoted to a Manager role but was allowed to keep her Director title. In addition to this, her lack of proper communication with the team was detrimental and caused a plethora of issues that escalated. She was not willing to truly listen when she asked for feedback, and retaliated by creating issues between team members and also by scapegoating certain team members in order to save face in front of her own boss. The most disappointing part of my experience with her was that she put on the face of a grateful boss at first, until she felt more comfortable, and then she flipped a switch and completely changed which was shocking to experience. She began to display favortist tactics, passive aggressive acts under the facade of niceness which was extremely difficult to unmask. She had a lot of people fooled and still does (although some saw through her faster than even I did). I do not recommend working for her, unless you are a passive person who can nod and smile and always agree with her.
