There's a difference between being a strong boss and being a jerk. Benjamin leans into being a jerk because, and I quote, "It's easier to manage people this way, hahaha" His business used iPads as a payment system. Benjamin left his iCloud photos attached to the account. Benjamin had nudes of himself and other women that was not his long-time girlfriend at the time. He had screenshotted Tinder accounts and text conversations so he wouldn't lose the conversation but hid it from his girlfriend. As employees, we were exposed to multiple pictures of his PENIS in this folder attached to the iCloud on the POS. He fires employees for little to no reason, something he could get in trouble for if somebody decides to report him to the State. He threatens his manager's jobs and tells employees they must work even if they are sick (He made me work even when I was throwing up) Benjamin was creepy and unprofessional to female staff. Many female employees left because of the sexual harassment they felt coming from him. He would make weird sexual comments about their bodies, their abilities to sell more donuts, and would invite them out to "vacations", however, none of them took him up on it from my knowledge / time working here. The only saving grace is that we made good tips when I worked here. Although I believe business has greatly dried up because the storefront looks like it's struggling. Maybe it's because his other 3-4 restaurants in the Valley failed so he ran away to Central Oregon and is trying to manage his store from there. Oh, but Benjamin stole our tips as well. He came in on National Donut Day to be "the face" of his business and took an equal share of tips when he left even though he spent more time talking to customers than serving them. Please stay away from this man and do not support or fund his businesses.
