She removed all her direct reports who had knowledge and experience and replaced them with an unqualified group of ‘yes’ people so she wasn’t challenged. Internally, she is an embarrassment of a communicator, lacking gravitas and substance. Externally, she does a fantastic job on self promotion and winning various ‘female CFO’ awards, playing up on being a female, having a disability*, committed to development, etc. in a hugely selfish move, lacking integrity, she took a huge pay rise in a year when all other managers were told they were only getting a small percentage so staff could have a higher rise to cope with cost of living. * she can’t work late as she gets tired.
