Poor management skills. Purely motivated by title and prestige. Problem assessing and solving skills are dismal combined with lack of courage to ask for help from more tenured associates, makes a deadly combination for a manager/leader. His mild manner often is mistaken for confidence as he's been overheard by subordinates as crying for help, not knowing what to do. Absolute zero direction given - never holding a meeting to assess past seasons or to set the tone for new seasons. He management style is to separate and buffer himself from any kind of work by distributing director level tasks to his management staff, which have gone from 4 to zero, all leaving before the end of 2 week notice. This guy needs a serious wake up call. He has yet to improve upon any of his departments that he's supposed to lead.
