Lot's of talk, but no action.
Alex was hired as a backfill at our EMEA Talent Acquisition Team at Lenovo and since then he was barely seen, no one knew what he was doing, but whenever it came to presenting and taking credit for someone else's work he magically appeared. Anywhere else he'd be fired just like in Accenture, but since his manager was thousands of kilometers away, they had no visibility into what was happening on the ground and lack of Alex's leadership. But hey, having 100% freedom all the time because your manager is absent, is not always a bad thing. Alex does have also good qualities - he can present well and put himself together well. After all he did convince GlobalLogic to hire him as a VP even though he was just a first line manager at Lenovo. Fake it till you make it I guess :) Way to go Alex!
