Albert is the store manager at party city store 998. While working there he put many a staff through emotional stress by his hostile passive aggressive manners. Multiple occasions he has screamed at staff members and threatened to fire them for illegitimate reasons such as “high school gossip” “my employees aren’t here to be friends”. When working under Albert you better be male because if not you will be targeted the most. The men can congregate and be “friends” however if you are a woman and caught speaking with another coworker you will be told to “separate from eachother” along with a hand gesture. He gives no direction on what needs to be done in the store but expects it to be done when he only had access to the planograms and weekly needs from the company. If you offer up ideas on how to do things to him he will say “it’s my store and if you don’t like it work somewhere else” every employee under him is expendable. He also told multiple staff that he would “throw anyone under the bus to save himself” Working for party city as a company is easy and great environment. However having a boss like him makes it hard to stay with the company.
