I've seen this boss for period of time eat lunch often in his office with a new employee. They started coming in and leaving together. They'd go on walks together. They both left early on his Birthday together. She was quickly promoted to a better paying job, but there was never anything going on. When he was first promoted to his position another employee offered him a book on management styles. He took it personally and made sure he blackballed him to the employee left. He also found reasons to get rid of an older female employee just because he didn't like her. Essentially if your not part of his group he will find reasons to get rid of them. He likes his employees to be yes people. He prefers working with women under the age of 35. He has meeting two to three days a week for generally over an hour where they sit and spend 3/4 of the time just joking around. He usually is only in the office 2 to 3 days a week and during the summer he often leaves early to go to his golf league. The women he works with often come in late, clock in and then all the women leave t go get coffee, or breakfast often times for 30 minutes or more. He lets them do this 4 to 5 days a week. On more than one occasion the group of 3 to 5 women have left for 2 hours or more. He is okay with them coming in late and leaving early. It would be okay if it wasn't ever week. I feel he's fixing their time cards so that they get 40 hours every week. There's more. It appears he manipulates his numbers so that he and his processors get their bonuses every month. This goes back to 2020. He will let a truck get added into the system even though it isn't really ready to run freight. They have all of the paperwork and legal documents needed, but the truck isn't actually finished with the branding and able to run loads for Panther, a service of Arcbest. The results are that he and his employees get paid bonuses for trucks that never showed up and were actually able to run freight. I'm not sure but I don't think this was ever approved by upper management at Panther. He's a smart person but he's looking out for his pocket. He will in my opinion get rid of employees if he doesn't like them, their looks, their personality, or if they question him.
