She was promoted to the level of her incompetence. Time and again, the people who report to her leave and the ELT HR leadership does not notice, care, or some combination of the above. Of the top 10 worst behaviors I've even seen an executive do to someone in a public setting, she makes the list for two of them within a year of one another. She humiliates people publicly. She cares more about how she is perceived than doing the right thing, and will throw people under the bus when push comes to shove.
